Questions
Before you book
Do I need a visa?
Citizens of many countries — including Russia, most of Europe, Australia, Japan, Korea and the Gulf states — can currently enter China visa-free for up to 30 days. We confirm the rules for your passport when you contact us and help with an invitation letter if you do need a visa.
How do you choose the hospital and doctor?
You send us your diagnosis and any reports. We review them with a partner doctor, propose the hospital and department best suited to your case, and give you an indicative cost before you decide. For complex cases we can arrange a remote consultation first.
How do I pay, and in which currency?
Our fee is paid by bank transfer or card before the trip, in USD, EUR, RUB or CNY. Hospital and pharmacy costs are paid at the hospital; most accept international cards, and we help with cash where needed. We keep every receipt for your insurer.
Can a family member come with me?
Yes. Companions travel at 50% of the daily rate, stay in the same room or an adjoining one, and we can arrange sightseeing for them while you are in treatment.
What if something goes wrong medically?
Your escort stays with you and your partner in the city coordinates with the hospital, your family and your insurer. Treatment decisions remain between you and the hospital; our role is to make sure nothing is lost in translation and no one is left alone.
Is the quality of Chinese hospitals really good?
China's top public hospitals are among the highest-volume in the world, and we only work with those ranked in the national top tier for the relevant specialty. The experience differs from a private Western clinic — larger, busier, more direct — which is exactly why an escort matters.
Do the doctors speak English?
Senior doctors at top hospitals often read English well but consultations run in Chinese. That is why a medical interpreter is in the room at every appointment, and why written reports are translated afterwards.
Can I take my medication home?
Usually yes, with the prescription and a translated doctor's note we provide. Rules vary by country; we check them for you. Repeat prescriptions can often be shipped later where legal.
What about food — halal, vegetarian, allergies?
Beijing, Jinan and Harbin all have halal restaurants; vegetarian and allergy needs are handled by choosing restaurants and briefing kitchens. Tell us once and it is arranged for every meal.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival; 50% refund up to 7 days; hospital deposits follow the hospital's rules. If the hospital postpones your treatment, unused days are refunded in full.
